SCHOOL YEAR START DATES

• First term starts in January.
• Second term starts in May.
• Third term starts in September.

EARLY YEARS ADMISSIONS

Students must be at least three years of age on or before 31 December of the academic year of entrance for admission to the Pre-School.

GRADE PLACEMENT

Admission is granted to a student when it has been determined that the school has a vacancy and an appropriate program to meet his/her individual needs. The final determination of grade placement will be made by the Head of School.

This placement will reflect the student’s previous educational experience, age, maturity, linguistic proficiency and academic needs. In certain circumstances, students will be placed in a lower grade level to meet their educational needs.

For a student to be placed in a grade higher than the minimum age indicated, clearly demonstrable superior academic and physical maturity, coupled with social maturity must exist and be judged so by the Jennings. Such advanced placement may only be given under exceptional circumstances and with the written approval of the Head of School.
