Spinnaker International Award Ceremony 2023

In a special award ceremony held in the capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo at the BMICH, the International Training Center based in London, Spinnaker International honored KENTHEA Scientific Professor, Dr. Kyriakos Veresiers with his proclamation as an Honorary Guest Professor.
 
The Principal of the Center Professor John White handing over the relevant diploma to Dr. Veresies praised his contribution to the prevention of addictions and mental health not only in Cyprus but also in other parts of world.
 
The Founder and CEO of Spinnaker International, Chaminda DeSilva thanked Dr. Veresies for his contribution to the pioneering implementation of prevention programs in Sri Lanka and the promotion of creative relations with KENTHEA the NGO from Cyprus that helps people in regards to Mental Health and Addictions.
 
Dr. K Veresies, in his welcoming speech, in regards to additions and the programs regarding the issues of prevention of addictions and mental health, he mentioned the situation of continuous traumatic stress that the Cyprus people live, due to the country being occupied by an invasion and the insecurity of not solving the political problem for the past 50 years.
 
As part of his trip, Dr. Veresies visited educational centers where prevention programs will be implemented for children of all ages and part of the collaboration of the two countries.
 
Special thanks to Mrs. Andrie Steliou, Educational Consultant and Vice Chairperson for Spinnaker International, from the USA and now residing in Larnaca, who has organized this program for The Republic of Cyprus to have developed these relations with the Ministry of Education in Sri Lanka.
